Do not wash hair for 2-3 days before applying Relaxer. Product contains Sodium Hydroxide. Follow directions carefully. Do not use it scalp is sore, irritated or has any signs of abrasions.
Avoid contact with eyes, ears, nose and mouth. If Relaxer comes into contact with the above, rinse quickly with warm water. Do not use on coloured or bleached hair which is breaking or damaged. Should Relaxer cause skin or scalp irritation, rinse out and cleanse with Black Velvet Neutralising Shampoo.
Always use rubber gloves when using
Relaxer. Keep away from children.
Strand Test:
Apply a small amount of Black Velvet Quik-Afro Relaxer to a strand of hair.
Start by spreading evenly from root area to end and observe changes in tension and texture as it relaxes to desired style.
Check signs of hair breakage or damage. If present do not use any Relaxer and consult you hair stylist for
further treatment.
Directions:
Apply Black Velvet Quik-Afro Relaxer to hair approximately 3mm from scalp using a non-metal comb, until the desired curl is removed. Ensure that you smooth the Relaxer from the neckline to the forehead. Total processing time between 6-10 minutes (depending on the condition of hair). Do not leave in tor
more than 12 minutes.
Rinse:
Rinse thoroughly with strong force warm water until no trace of Relaxer is left in the hair. Shampoo hair/2-3 times with Black Velvet Neutralising Shampoo Follow with Black Velvet Enriched Conditioner and oil Moisturising Hair lotion,Towel Dry ,Fluff and then comb.
